PartyPoker.com poker tournaments are running regularly onsite, and there is a schedule detailing start times for tournaments throughout the day.

Poker players like to have variety in the type of games on offer, with cash games, STTs and MTTs all being very popular. The poker tournaments which run at Party Poker cover a number of different formats, with special bounty tournaments or satellites running too. Bounty tournaments involve bonus cash payments made for the elimination of poker players from the tournaments, and satellites involve players competing for a prize of a seat in a bigger event. There are of course regular buy in tournaments, and guaranteed MTT tournaments which often attract a lot of interest too.
There are new features being added to improve tournaments all the time at PartyPoker.com, and one of the most recent additions is the option to make a deal. This takes place when a tournament is down to the final table where poker players can open a window and put in the amount of the prize pool they wish to share and in what way. This will only ever come into effect if all remaining poker players are in agreement, and is an interesting way to help players even the money out a bit if they wish to. This ensures that each poker player remaining knows they will win a nice amount of cash, no matter what happens, if they make a deal with the money. This can apply to part, or all of the cash involved.

PKR.com online poker site has quickly become one of the leading places to play poker within the online poker world.

The visual experience is alike nothing else you can find anywhere, with moving characters that speak to each other whilst at the poker tables. That in itself, is extremely entertaining as much as it is realistic, but there are serious reasons for a poker room offering this type of 3D poker room. Useful additions can be made such as players being able to see each others characters checking their hole cards which gives an interesting strategic insight.
Poker in it’s online format, has only recently begun to make use of the visual technology available, part of the reason for this being that such software can take a long while to install. Many players think that it is worth the wait however, as it isn’t just the visual aspects that are eye catching. Promotions are of a very good standard, and there are reload bonuses, many freerolls, and a nice first time deposit bonus too.
Generally speaking, the poker room is very professionally run, and has a good flow of players through the site that wouldn’t dream of playing their poker elsewhere now that they have found PKR.com online poker site.
Poker is enjoyable in any format, but PKR.com have really excelled in bringing something special to the tables, in terms of both thepk play itself, and other areas of their poker room.

One promotion that deserves a particular mention at www.partypoker.com is the ‘cash machine’ promotion.
To play online poker at partypoker.com click here!
This offers players a chance to earn a lot of money if they dedicate the hours to sitting at the tables.
The promotion works on the basis of points earned throughout the month of September. www.partypoker.com will take the ten days in the month where you earned the most points, then pick the lowest one of these ten days and match the number of points you earned on that day, with cash.
The rate is $1 per point, and there is no limit on how much you could earn. This is an excellent offer in my opinion, as it offers players of all levels the chance to get their hands on bonus cash simply by putting in the time at the tables.
Partypoker.com run freerolls constantly onsite through the day, giving their players another way in which to top up their funds with free money, although generally, the prize pools offered are not that large. There are other promotions running currently at www.partypoker.com, including bad beat jackpots, huge tournaments, poker schooling for new players, and much more.
www.partypoker.com give away more than $100,000 in freerolls over the course of the month, along with offering over $6 million in guranteed prize pools too. Regular promotions keep the poker players onsite happy, and the innovative ‘cash machine’ promotion looks like a very good one indeed.

www.pkr.com continue to offer state of the art poker playing experiences to their players, the like of which cannot be easily found in the online world. If you thought this was the only special aspect of their poker room though, you would be mistaken.
For poker freerolls at pkr.com click here!
www.pkr.com offer promotions to their players on a very regular basis, with the most recent being bonuses for cash game play. An additional bonus has been added at the time of writing this, with bonuses paid at 15 times the big blind for every Straight Flush made at www.pkr.com ring game tables.
These promotions are all aimed at helping the average, every day players, to expand their bankrolls. Another important way that www.pkr.com help their smaller bankrolled players, is through freerolls. In MTT format, there are many free tournaments running during the day at www.pkr.com, some of which may cost points to enter, and some of which will cost nothing at all.
www.pkr.com also have an excellent freeroll STT system going, where STTs are running all the time with 10 cent prize poker pools. This is a great idea as it offers a very good chance of winning some money when you enter one, which the MTT’s do not usually. Freerolls and promotions are plentiful at www.pkr.com, and as the summer becomes autumn, you can be sure there will be more promotions listed onsite.

Online communities can be found on most poker sites, and partypoker.com is no different. As soon as you sit down to play, whether it is at high stakes tables, or play money tables, there will be players enjoy playing poker with.

You will generally find that as you get down to the lower stakes you will find more chat going on at the poker tables, and so it is easier to make new friends whilst playing at these levels. In terms of profit, it often pays to log into the same tables at a similar time each day at partypoker.com, as you are more likely to find the same group of players there helping you to fit into the great community at partypoker.com.
The community spirit to be found at partypoker.com does not end at simple table chat and playing poker though, as there are other community aspects to be found at partypoker.com. There is a new player zone which offers help and advice for beginners getting started. Also at partypoker.com is a blog section, where you will find stories and advice from fellow poker players. Also you can find all the action from partypoker.com qualifiers in this years WSOP main event too. There are not any forums at partypoker.com which perhaps means that there is more community building here that could be undertaken, but overall, the community at partypoker.com is a very friendly and large one.

PKR.com are unique in the amount of gesturing and communicating players can do at the tables, which has to be a good thing I feel. Online poker communities are built on communication, and PKR.com has developed a particularly good online poker community I feel. There is always the occasional one player at the tables that will be annoying or abusive, but I think it would be impossible to remove such people from poker rooms entirely.

Usually the frustrated players at PKR.com are the ones losing money anyway so it is not always a bad situation to have such a player at your table. Generally speaking though, players enjoy themselves at the tables, and the realistic feel to sitting down and playing only adds to community spirit at PKR.com I feel.
The place where the PKR.com online poker community is most prevalent would be on the poker forums. There you will find a group of players that are close knit, but very welcoming to new players. The forum moderators are very helpful too, and aid players in arranging special tournaments for the online poker community at PKR.com.
You will find helpful comments and advice posted on the forums which can help you with any problems or strategy issues you might wish to discuss. Overall, I have to say the online poker community on the PKR.com forums is one of the friendliest around.

PKR are a poker room which strive to offer a great service to their players. I have found changes over this year very exciting and www.pkr.com just keeps improving all the time.

The introduction of Omaha hi/lo was a much needed extra option in the game variety area, and all the extra venues for poker games look great too. As of recently, pkr.com have started offering a reload bonus where poker players can get a 100% bonus provided they use the relevant code when depositing.
Onsite at PKR now, you will find day to day messages telling you everything you need to know abbout all the latest things on offer at www.pkr.com. The friends section onsite has recieved an update and looks good, but one of the more major changes to have been made is the ‘My PKR’ section.
Added to these new changes is a chance to watch exclusive live feeds from the WSOP in Vegas. This is an excellent idea because it provides players with some real inspiration to get stuck in at the tables themselves. PKR even has it’s own ‘Super Series’ running this month with a number of eye catching guaranteed tournaments for which you can satellite your way to a seat. Online Poker at PKR has never been better, with new features, promotions and updates, and I have to say that I like the changes very much. pkr.com is the place where you can find a team of staff always looking to improve every month of the year.

PartyPoker.com – Sign up bonuses can be very important in keeping a steady flow of players coming in through the online poker room doors I feel.
To play online poker at partypoker.com click the link!
Some players might make their choice of online poker room through reputation of a site, or simply what poker room their friend happens to be on, but I do think for most players the first time deposit bonus matters. Players starting out with online poker, like their first deposit to last them a while, and preferably not to have to deposit again at all.
In order to start playing in reasonable sized games, it is important for them to have this initial boost to their funds. I preferably like to see free entries to newcomer freerolls too as this gives another chance for player to use their skill to expand their bankroll.
PartyPoker offer a bonus of 100% on deposits of $25 and upwards, with a cap placed at $500. This is very reasonable as deposit bonuses go, although it would be nice to see the $500 cap raised a little. The bonus is released as you earn the required points for cash play, but that is quite usual with most online poker rooms. You have 120 days to fulfil the points requirement, and if there are any problems, staff are always on hand to help you. Overall this is a fairly good bonus, and should be enough to keep most new players happy at the tables for quite some time, as they collect the installments of their bonus.

Last week, I wrote about a very interesting poker experience at Party Poker which saw me go from building a strong chiplead to then seeing several hands go horribly wrong at the final table. I was eliminated in 7th place by one of those hands that will stay with you for some time.
Play online poker at partypoker.com now!
This week, I wanted to better my placing last week and continue to move up the league table, as we have our end of league tournament on May 24th. I started quite well on Wednesday, picking off a couple of small pots, before finding myself dragged into a huge pot when myself and an opponent incredibly, both got dealt the same hand and flopped a Full House. I was trying to mix up my play a lot, raising relatively small preflop and making the exact same bets preflop with (5s,6s) (K,Q) and (K,J). I joked that if I got dealt (A,A) I might make the same preflop bet just to really confuse everyone, and very strangely, got dealt exactly that on the next hand. It’s almost as if the Aces in the deck heard me say it, but I decided to make the same bet as promised, knowing full well no one could possibly believe I had been dealt it straight after saying this. In hindsight I should have bet more and not allowed the small blind to make a loose call with (10,6). The flop came down (6,6,9) and I was forced to make an excellent lay down when I was reraised on the flop.
After this I slid down in chips, but came back strongly to make the final table. I was eventually eliminated on the bubble in 5th place, but I had bettered last weeks result and played well overall I feel. I could have tightened up to try and make it into the money but to me, if you are scared of the bubble place, you never maximise your chances of winning.

One of the most interesting new features to be added to PKR in recent months are the Omaha hi/lo games. These seem to be attracting quite a lot of interest, not just from regular Omaha players, but from Holdem players too. I like to see as many options as possible in terms of games, so it is nice to see PKR paying attention to this aspect of their poker room.
Play now at Pkr.com!
Also, with the WSOP imminent, PKR is offering the chance for players to win their way to World Series packages. For the regular poker player this gives a chance, however slim, of achieving a dream and making it to Las Vegas for this years biggest event.
Interestingly, PKR has recently started to offer affiliate deals to players with their own web pages. This involves payments and bonuses to players who advertise PKR on their own web page, with payments made based on visits to the page. The team at PKR will help you set this up, and you would be working alongside them to spread the word about PKR and help bring in new players. This seems a very good idea to me, reaching out to potential new players through existing customers is sure to be successful with the ongoing flow of people through web pages in modern times.
These new ideas should help to make PKR a bigger and better site in my opinion, keeping existing players content, as well as hopefully reaching out to new players everywhere.
